Dan has been working in the healthcare and holistic fields for 33 years. Initially trained as a Medic in the U.S. Navy, he began his Physical Therapy career in 1993, specializing in outpatient orthopedics, spine care, and management of chronic pain and soft tissue injuries. In 2005 he graduated from the Center for Natural Wellness and School of Massage Therapy where his focus shifted to Eastern Philosophy and specifically Holistic Medicine. For many years he studied intensely the philosophy of Yoga and specifically enjoyed immersing in Bhakti Yoga and Vedanta. He furthered his inner development with studies immersed in Christian and Sufi mysticism, contemplative prayer practices, and the art of grateful living. He has been in private practice for 20 years now offering Holistic Bodywork, Breathwork facilitation, guidance, and teaching, Mindfulness Meditation, Spiritual Counsel, and also volunteers as an End of Life Doula.
